Morselhood™ – Terms of Service
1) Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our policies referenced here (Privacy Policy, Content Policy, and any group‑specific rules). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2) What Morselhood™ Is (and Is Not)
- Morselhood™ is a technology platform that enables member‑to‑member listings, discovery, and coordination within private groups.
- Morselhood™ is not a manufacturer, retailer, logistics provider, safety certifier, or a payment intermediary (unless expressly stated for a feature).
- Features may help coordinate hand‑offs or third‑party couriers arranged by members. Morselhood™ does not own or operate vehicles and is not a common carrier.
- Any offerings listed, sold, delivered, or consumed are the sole responsibility of the member providing them (the “Seller”) and the member purchasing them (the “Buyer”). For consumables, the Seller is responsible for appropriate disclosures and safe handling.
3) Eligibility and Group Access
- You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to join the group you select in the app.
- Morselhood™ may restrict access to specific groups and may require phone verification or additional checks.
4) Accounts and Verification
- Provide accurate information (name, address where required, phone). Keep your account secure and do not share OTPs.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
5) Listings and Safety
- Sellers must describe offerings honestly (materials/ingredients where relevant, quantity/portion, price, availability, and pickup/delivery window).
- Follow safe preparation/handling/storage practices appropriate to the offering. Do not list expired, unsafe, or misleading items.
- For consumables, include conspicuous disclosures for common allergens or sensitivities. Buyers with allergies must confirm details before ordering.
- Comply with applicable rules and laws in India and any rules of the premises or association where hand‑offs occur.
6) Ordering and Payments
- Orders are agreements directly between Buyer and Seller. Prices and availability are set by the Seller.
- Unless otherwise stated in‑app, payments are handled directly between members (e.g., UPI or cash). Morselhood™ does not collect, hold, or settle funds.
- Receipts, taxes, and any compliance obligations are the Seller’s responsibility.
7) Cancellations, Refunds, and Disputes
- Each Seller may define their own cancellation and refund policy. Resolve issues in good faith within your group norms.
- Morselhood™ may, at its discretion, facilitate communication but is not obliged to mediate or reimburse.
8) Delivery, Pickup, and Risk
- Pickup or delivery may be arranged directly between members or coordinated using features in the Service. Unless expressly stated, any delivery is performed by independent parties or the members themselves—not by Morselhood™.
- Morselhood™ does not assume carrier obligations and does not control on‑ground logistics. Timing, hand‑off, and condition at delivery are the responsibility of the parties involved.
- Observe applicable security rules and respect common‑area usage during hand‑offs.
9) Prohibited Items and Conduct
- No illegal, unsafe, or restricted goods or services (including regulated items, hazardous materials, or items prohibited by law or building rules).
- No misleading claims, spam, harassment, hate, or violations of group rules.
- Morselhood™ may remove listings or suspend accounts for violations.
10) User Content and Licences
You grant Morselhood™ a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free licence to host, display, and distribute your listings, photos, and text for operating and improving the Service.
11) Ratings/Reviews
Be fair and truthful. We may remove abusive or irrelevant feedback.
12) Fees
Morselhood™ may introduce fees later with notice. Any applicable platform fees will be disclosed in‑app.
13) Compliance and Taxes
Cooks are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and for any taxes arising from sales.
14) Disclaimer; Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Morselhood™ disclaims all warranties and is not liable for: the quality, safety, or fitness for purpose of member offerings (including any consumables); personal injury or illness; delays or issues with pickup/delivery coordinated through the app; payment issues between members; or any indirect or consequential damages. In any case, our aggregate liability shall not exceed INR 1,000.
15) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Morselhood™ and its affiliates harmless from claims arising from your use of the Service, your listings, your transactions, or your violations of these Terms or laws.
16) Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for any breach, suspected fraud, or risk to the community. You may stop using the Service at any time.
17) Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify these Terms or the Service with notice by posting an updated version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
18) Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
